Every time I visit Seattle, the first thing to greet me at the airport is Mount Rainier. Did you know that the most innovative project at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is named after this mountain?
Project Rainier is a new project to create what is expected to be the most computer computer in the world to train AI models across several data centers in the connected stages. Anthropic develops advanced versions of its Claude models with five times more computing power than its current large training cluster.
The key technological energy of the Rainier project is the AWS Custom-Navigated Trainium2 chips that are specialized in the huge data processing needed for training comprehensive AI models. Thousands of these Trainium2 chips will be connected in the new type AMAZON EC2 Ultraserver and EC2 UltraCluster Architecture, which allows ultra -fast communication and data sharing across a massive system.
You will learn about the vertical integration of the AWS project Rainer, where it designs each component of the technological storage from chips to software, allows you to optimize the entire system for maximum efficiency and reliability.
Start of Last Week
Here are a few launches that caught me:
- Amazon S3 Access for Amazon FSX Pro OpenSfs – You have access and analyze your FSX for Openzfs Files Data via Amazon S3 access points, ENABLING SMOCE INTEGRATION WITH AWS AI/ML, and analytical services without moving data from the file system. You can handle your FSX data with Openzfs as if they were stored in S3, which is accessible via the S3 APIs for various applications include Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Sagemaker, AWS Glue and other cloud applications based on S3.
- Amazon S3 with Sorte and Z-order compaction for Apache ICEBERG tables can be optimized inquiry and reduce costs with new compaction of Sorte and Z-line. For S3 tables, it automatically organizes data files based on defined columns orders, while combining from the order can be enabled for efficient queries on multi -column.
- Amazon Cloudwatch Investigations-can speed up your AWS problem solutions that put Amazon Cloudwatch A-Powred Feedlure, helping to identify anomalies, surface signals and design steps of remediation. This ability can be launched via cloudwatch data widgets, more AWS consoles, Alarm actions Cloudwatch or Amazon Q Chat, and allows you to collaborate and integrate teams with Slack and Microsoft teams.
- Amazon Bedrock Guardrails Standard Tier – using a new standard level you can improve your AI content. It offers improved content filtering and the ability to refuse a topic in up to 60 languages, better detection of variations included and stronger protection against rapid attacks. This feature allows you to configure the warranties to block malicious content, take over the model hallucinations, the pilot personally identifiable information (PII) and verifying Bilfly’s requirements through automated reasoning checks.
- Amazon Route 53 Resolver for a private hosted zone-can be simplified by DNS management across AWS and premise infrastructure using the new Route 53 DNS delegation for private subdomains hosted zones that work with both incoming and exit end points. You can delegate the subdomain authority between your infrastructure on the spot and the server server server Cloud Service Route 53, which eliminates the need for the rules for passing complicated.
- Amazon Q Clic developer for Java transformation – you can automate and scale upgrading Java using a new Amazon Q command line interface. This feature performs upgrades from Java 8, 11, 17 or 21 versions for versions 17 or 21 directly from the command line. This tool offers selective transformation options, so you can choose specific steps from the transformation plans and adjust the library upgrades.
- You can simplify new integration of AWS IoT-MAKE to manage Internet of Things (IoT) across multiple manufacturers and protocols using a new managed integration function that provides a uniform interface for checking the device directly connected via hubs or third-party clouds. Functions include pre-created cloud-to-clud connectors (C2C), data model and SDK templates that support Zigbee, Z-Wave and Wi-Fi logs, while you can still create your own connectors and data models.
